TPI Golf Screen
The TPI Golf Screen is a 2-part assessment including the Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Screen, in which Jon will undertake a full-body physical screen followed by a golf swing analysis. Taking the TPI Principles that “We don’t believe there is one way to swing a club; we believe there are an infinite number of ways to swing a club. But we do believe that there is one efficient way for everyone to swing a club and it is based on what they can physically do.” We aren’t looking to try to force your body to do something that it isn’t physically able to do which is more likely to injure you than make you a better golfer.

Physical Screen
Jon will use the TPI system leveraged by his years of sports physiotherapy experience to take a full dive into your flexibility, mobility and strength, using a range of golf-specific tests and measurements to analyse how your body moves and functions. Highlighting any areas of stiffness, weakness and hypo-mobility that will be affecting your normal movement patterns and limiting your ability to swing optimally and efficiently stopping you from reaching your full potential. You will be given your own TPI Golf fitness handicap which we can work on lowering.
Golf Swing Analysis
Jon will then analyse your golf swing from multiple angles and see how your body moves during the swing, identifying the swing characteristics you display and whether you are swinging efficiently and if your swing is increasing your risk of injury or be a cause for any pain you feel.

The results of both the Physical and Swing Screen are then brought together and will allow Jon to build a clear picture as to what might be a root cause of what's preventing you from swinging pain free, efficiently and with more power.

They will also be used to advise you on the most relevant exercises and/or treatment programme to keep you physically fit for golf and avoid pain and discomfort during your game. With your consent, Jon will also liaise closely with your coaches to discuss any findings, in order to create a tailored and personalised coaching plan, including, advice on areas to work on within your coaching sessions to enhance your game and performance. This will allow you to deliver an explosively powerful and consistently repeatable golf swing.
